Classical guitar is the perfect way to add class and atmosphere to an event. From corporate events to cocktail parties to wedding ceremonies and receptions, Alex has done them all and can provide you with a highly professional job that is catered to the needs of your particular event.

Everything is very flexible. I will gladly sit down to talk with you and make sure that you are getting exactly what it is that you want for your event. This is the contract used for all gigs.

I am available for private guitar and music instruction for students of all ages and ability levels. I have been teaching for years and strive to promote an environment that is both fun and stimulating.

Traditionally guitar education is quite spotty compared to the quality of more traditional instruments like piano and violin. It is important that a teacher not just be able to show a student how something is done, but why it works musically and technically. This is why music theory is incorporated into lessons - so that the student isn't just learning "how" but also "why."

Whether you play an electric, acoustic, or nylon string guitar, and whether you want to learn rock, pop, jazz, classical, metal, or a bit of everything, I can help guide you and get your playing to reach the next level. It is important that the student play music that they enjoy and therefore are going to want to practice which will lead to quicker learning.

Besides playing, listening is also extremely important. You can learn a great deal from listening to great players and analyzing what it is that makes them sound good. I will suggest new music of all sorts of different styles that feature not only high quality guitar playing, but also well written music in general to help broaden the student's perspective and appreciation for quality music and musicians.
